Dr Emma Maguire
(Clinical Toxicologist)

Emma is an emergency physician, who have a deep and ongoing commitment to the
pursuit of excellence in clinical practice. Areas of interest include toxicology,
critical care, palliative care, and medical ethics.
She has taken an active role in teaching
at all levels, and in particular am keen to be further involved in assisting junior
colleagues with Fellowship examinations.
​Emma has recently completed extensive training to acquire recognition as a Clinical Toxicologist – having undertaken an MSc in Toxicology, a two year Postgraduate fellowship in Clinical Toxicology, and several years (on a voluntary basis) with the
Queensland Poisons Information Centre (QPIC).
