Nicole Gandrton
(Emergency Nurse Educator) Nicole Ganderton is an emergency nurse from the Gold Coast. She has held positions in a range of clinical settings including regional and rural Queensland and has undertaken multiple projects in Africa for the international humanitarian organisation Doctors Without Borders.
She has completed post graduate studies to support her practice. She holds a Masters in Advanced Practice (Emergency) and a Masters of Health Professional Education. She has extensive teaching experience at the Gold Coast University Hospital Emergency Department, as Sessional staff at universities in South East Queensland and in international developmental projects. In her current position as Clinical Team Coordinator at Gold Coast University Hospital she is the emergency nursing lead in Code responses across the hospital. This role utilises her professional strengths and clinical areas of interest; team-based performance, appropriate resource allocation and bedside teaching. When not at work, Nicole can be found teaching tricks to her best canine friend 'Florence' the Labradoodle, or shaking her groove-thing on the dance floor. |
